In January 2003, I was hired as the commercial director of the LIFEtool consortium. Then as now, I was primarily responsible for all financial aspects, but also for building up the non-profit LIFEtool consulting network and expanding distribution partnerships for the hardware and software solutions developed by LIFEtool.

With the founding of LIFEtool gemeinnützige GmbH and its subsidiary LIFEtool Solutions GmbH in 2008, I bear the main responsibility for all areas of activity as Managing Director. Essentially, I report to owners and funding bodies on our projects, take care of the contacts with our partners scattered all over the world, accompany my colleagues in the day-to-day implementation of our diverse tasks and keep a watchful eye on the proper use of the funds given to us.

I like working at LIFEtool because I have always been fascinated by assistive technologies and AAC - not least because of my parents with hearing impairments. Furthermore, I find our work meaningful and I consider it a gift to be able to meet people with unbelievably strong wills and unheard-of joy in life again and again through my job.
