Requirements Analysis

  • Personas, Use Cases and Scenarios
We give a specific "face" to our target group (elderly and people with special needs). For this purpose user profiles, procedures, processes and realistic stories are defined and visualized as mockups. These results serve as a basis for User Centered Design.

  • User Workshops
Inputs are collected and evaluated together with users in the context of discussions, brainstorming, and focus groups. Thus, the knowledge for the needs of users is constantly expanding.

  • Interviews and Observations
Qualitative and quantitative interviews are conducted with end users. These interactions with users help in order to refine the use cases and scenarios.

  • User Requirements
The demands, needs and tasks of users are collected in the context of the above mentioned analysis. As a result requirements and specifications are created. This collected information serves as a basis for downstream phases.

Evaluation

  • Usability Tests
Together with end-users different systems and applications are tested in terms of usability. This takes place in our own premises or directly in real-life settings (e.g. at home, in the office or outdoor). Video analysis, observations and interviews are scientifically conducted and evaluated. This provides valuable inputs for usability improvements of our products.

  • Accessibility Tests
We conduct special accessibility tests with users from specific target groups. Our experienced pedagogues and counselors optimize systems in order to fit the latest accessibility guidelines.
