In September 2023, I took over the management of LIFEtool, a company with which I have been associated since my student days and my work at Diakoniewerk. In the beginning, it was a joint research project that brought me closer to information and communication technologies, and in the following years we remained in professional exchange on the possible applications of AAC and assistive technologies.

I am pleased to be responsible, together with a competent team, for a company that has set itself the goal of giving people a voice through AAC and assistive technologies. This brings us one step closer to the goal of an inclusive society.
I am committed to ensuring that people without active or with severely limited spoken language have opportunities and possibilities to discover and develop their individual form of communication. What most of us take for granted - communicating, sharing and communicating in everyday life - must also be possible for people with limited forms of communication.
