WheelSim Home – simulator for power wheelchair training
WheelSim Home is a virtual e-wheelchair simulator that allows people with impairments of all ages to learn and train the e-wheelchair control in a realistic simulation. WheelSim Home is aimed at individual users and is intended for use at home.
WheelSim Pro is aimed at institutions such as schools, therapy facilities and wheelchair providers. Detailed information on the WheelSim website.
WheelSim Home is available for Windows only.
In addition to basic skills in using the e-wheelchair, special emphasis is placed on teaching and reinforcing traffic-related rules of conduct in order to prepare for driving in road traffic.
To enable the use of this application with several people, a user manager is offered. Individual settings and results will be saved and can be loaded quickly.
Both versions can be used on the PC on the screen (2D). After connecting an Oculus VR goggle, the rides in both versions take place in VR.
